MONDAY APPLE GATHERING

A weekly social and learning gathering especially for those interested in homeschooling, but all APPen members are welcome. Held from from 10:30am-12:30pm at an open space preserve. If weather is bad, we may arrange a different location. Members can email Ryl or Heather O. for more information.

TUESDAY TODDLE TIME PLAYGROUP

A weekly casual social gathering held at members' houses or at local parks on Tuesdays from 11am-1pm. All are welcome. Members can contact Maria L. for more information.

WEDNESDAY MORNING PARK DAY

A weekly social event for all ages. We meet Wednesday from 10am-12pm at various parks. If weather is bad, we may arrange a different location—it's always a good idea to check the email list on Wednesday morning to see if there is a change. Members can email Becca L. for more information.

MONTHLY MOTHER’S (AND FATHER’S) NIGHT OUT

Once a month we get together at a local restaurant to share food and conversation. Members can contact Becca L. for more information.

MONTHLY BRUNCH POTLUCK AND PLAYTIME

Held once a month on a weekend from 10:30-1:30 at members' homes. Members can contact Ryl for more information.

DAD’S GROUP

Our dads get together periodically (sometimes with the kids at a local park and sometimes without the kids at a local restaurant) to support each other in the dad journey of attachment parenting. Members can contact John B. for more information.

QUARTERLY FAMILY POTLUCKS

Community potluck get-togethers are planned roughly four times per year. Sometimes we meet in parks and sometimes in members’ homes. Members can contact Becca A-B for more information.

FIELD TRIPS, EVENTS, AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

Individuals may create activities or trips for the benefit of the group. The individual creating the event may set any guidelines and limitations he or she feels appropriate. Individuals may choose to conduct field trips or events related to their interests or those of their children, ideally with the larger intention of APP in mind.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP BUSINESS MEETINGS

Meetings are open to all members. Group decisions will be voted on at the meetings as defined by the bylaws. The meetings will allow adult discussion, and we will have specific topics addressed as requested by the membership. Members can contact Lisa B for more information.

IN-A-PINCH

Members provide meals and other support for mothers with newborns or other members in times of need. Members can contact Diana for more information.

EMAIL LIST

Our main form of communication is email. In order to be on the email list, a person must be a member in good standing, namely: a current membership form must be on file and annual dues must be paid.

Our compilation of birth stories, book reviews, recipes and other information on attachment parenting. Members can contact Alexandra for more information or for submissions.
